Rides

Rancho Rodeo del Rey, located north of Laguna de Hanson, makes available group rides.

You'll enjoy horse rides, covering 1,800 hectares of wonderful mountain scenerys & explore secret routes to descend to the norther desert of Baja California; arriving at Laguna Salada via central part of La Rumorosa.

You'll travel the surrounding area of Laguna de Hanson & visit the regional cattle ranchs, learning the cowboy's way of life of Sierra de Juárez.

Package 1

Includes:

• 2 lodging nights in double occupancy rooms
• First day:
  • light supper (afternoon reception)

  • Horse ride in the ranch with aproximmate duration of 6 hours and countryside dinner

• Third day:

If the group has more than six people you can use a cabin or if the group has 16, if you wish you can use a 8 bedroom cabin.

Every group can make any lodging combinations they like.

  • Horse ride in the ranch with an aproximmate duration of 6 hours with countryside dinner

Cattle drives

Also you can live a real cowboy adventure in old western american style.

At the end of XIX century Sierra de Juárez was put in franchise by the federal governement to a cattle company called CIRCLE BARR Co., owner of several thousands of heads.

To care & maintain their cattle, they brough the best sourhern cowboys of United States

50 years later, the franchise ended and the shareholders returned to USA. However, the cowboys stayed in this land and ther heir today are the owners of the cattel ranchs of the region. Their techniques and traditions are preserved like in the beginning.

At Rancho Rodeo del Rey you can become a real cowboy, drive cattle and do the real work of cowboys, during at least 3 days or one week if you wish. It will be a wonderful experience.
